I want to renew my passport, will the old passport number be?
Yes. The old PP number will be mentioned in the last page of the PP which also contains the names of your parents, spouse, your present address, etc. The old PP will be cancelled and returned to you stapled to your new PP. You've to carry your old PP if it contains any valid visas.
