What do I do as I have renewed my passport and due to some reason?
You can apply for re- issue of passport with all the valid documents such as proof of address , proof of identity etc and other documents that may be required in your case . While applying for re- issue on line , you will have to mention the fact of failed police verification . What was the reason of failed police verification has not been mentioned? Was it because of some wrong information provided by you or wrong address proof or some police case against you leading to adverse report ? You know better . If any pending police case is still there - If at all it is there , fate of application will be the same . If there was/ were some other Issues such as wrong address , incorrect information , you can seek appointment on line and address these issues by carrying valid and undeniable proof along with self attested photo copies. For the sake of repetition , I must inform you that while applying on line , please do not hide the fact of non re- issuance of passport earlier due to failed Police verification . Hope this helps .
