Can you renew your passport early?
You can apply for early renewal if your passport runs out of pages and you have no other choice but to renew or add pages (not all countries allow additional pages to be inserted). Usually you can go for renewal if the passport has less than one year of validity period remaining before it expires. You should definitely renew if it is close to six months as you will not be able to get any visas in a passport which is about to expire in around six months.
